How does my Bench bookkeeper categorize my receipts?

You’ll need to categorize your receipts when submitting them. To do so, add a note in the subject line or in the body of the email when you submit it. Anything entered in the subject line will be saved in the Notes section of each transaction and matched with the appropriate receipt. Alternatively, if you write a note in the body of the email when forwarding a receipt, it will appear on a page of the receipt as a .pdf file.
